Show and Tell: Foliage

October 19, 2008

For Perfect Moment Monday this week, I talked about a bittersweet autumn day. But I didn’t include pictures.

So, for Show and Tell this week, here is a photo of some of the local foliage. In fact, this grove is next to my RE’s office, across from the hospital where he performed IVF #1 and will perform my hysteroscopy and the next IVF in the near future. Seems fitting.

I have really been lifted by the foliage too this year. The last two were rainy causing the trees to shed far too quickly.

Nature is powerful. Thanks for sharing.

    Beautiful palette.

If you’ve got to have an RE (and how we wish we didn’t), it’s nice to have one with a pretty view.

Love that red tree. Wish we had more of them in the Pacific Northwest. Green, green, and more green 🙂

Hello Cass…thx for stopping by and what a beautiful pic you have posted for this Show and Tell. Nature has so many treasures to share!

You commented on my blog. I just wanted to clarify something. That particular post (Show and Tell, kids) was organized as pic-description, pic-description, pic-description…so when you commented on that small girl pic, the next pic (the guy with the mischievious glint) belonged to my colleague’s son. I had not posted the recent pic of the seven-month old gal at all.

Have a nice day and loads of best wishes!

Hey…Never Mind the Mix-Up, I just pointed out that mix-up coz, you would have stayed on with an incorrect impression.

Yes, the bracelets have a meaning. The bead are alternate gold and non-precious black beads. Black as a colour is supposed to ward off any evil influence. That is why a couple of ‘them’ are photographed with their bracelets. Whether the beads are silver or gold or gold-plated silver are just signs of the family’s prosperity.

Hi. I found your site from ICLW. The colors in that picture are pretty.

  12. Cassandra, I want to wish you the very best on your IVF! I am mentioning you and your fine site on an upcoming Shiksapedia posting re Chai. Lots of luck! L’Chaim! Marilyn
